A summer holiday spent in the Mediterranean on the island of Malta was this artist's dream come true.
The sea, the people, the ancient buildings, the vibrant colors everywhere, even the air is beautiful in Malta. While visiting an elementary school, I assured the teachers I would work there just for the windows! Huge, arched windows with sunlight pouring in and open to the air without even a screen blocking the view. Those memories birthed this painting. I can still feel the deliciousness of it all when I look at this glorious window.
