This sunflower morphed from a simple little painting into glorious color and patterns of pinks and purples and yellows and greens. 

All in typical palette. But there is nothing typical about this sunflower design. Shouting colors and patterns all taken from snippets of other paintings I have created. Joy bursts from the center to all 4 corners. And our smiling cat is almost hidden in the corner. Maybe thinking about his afternoon lunch, or maybe totally oblivious to all that is happening around him. A joy to behold.
